As our first son started getting older and was more interested in watching DVDs while in the car or while on a plane, I decided it was time to invest in some headphones so other passengers and us included didn’t have to endure Peppa Pig on repeat. I purchased these for our son just over a year ago. They are really good! He refused to wear normal headphones but when I bought these for him and he seen them he wouldn’t take them off. The RRP for these are £19.99 (UK Price) but I’m sure you can find them on the internet cheaper if you searched.
Product Description says
KaZoo MyPhones are fun, animal-inspired over-the-ear headphones for kids! KaZoo MyPhones have built-in volume-limiting circuitry that keeps the sound pressure down to levels recommended as safe for young ears. Exposure to excessive levels of sound is more than a nuisance. It’s a health issue, especially for children. KaZoo MyPhones use a built-in, always-on sound-control circuit to cap peak volume levels at 85 decibels.
They feel very sturdy and well made, and have stood up to the abuse of my son for over a year (which is a good thing!) The sound quality is surprisingly good – I didn’t think you would be able to hear anything on them. The sound is good enough for my son who will turn the volume up or down depending if he can hear it or not. They are very comfy to wear (yes i have tried them on!)
So in conclusion, I would definitely recommend these for young kids for travelling, my son will sit in the car, or on an aeroplane and use these to watch a movie. They wont break the bank either which is a good thing.
