Welcome to Travel Memories Week 16! We hope to post every week a photo from our past travels (before children included) that makes us smile and remember the moment. We love taking photos of our travels (especially me – Sam) so we thought we would start this little series and see where it takes us. Memories are so special and when we forget we can look back at all our photo albums and know that there were happy moments which we can cherish.
Our Travel Memories
This picture was taken back in 2009 in Whinfell Forest, UK. We visited back in 2009 about 4 months after we met. We decided to book a weekend break away and headed to Center Parcs to see if it was any good. We had packed our own food and bikes so we didn’t have the extra cost of eating out. However we did make the mistake of not booking any activities which meant we really struggled to book things when we were there. So if we ever go again we would definitely book activities before we go. The above picture is from a photo booth that changed us into a pencil drawing. Oh how young we look! haha. Have you ever been to a Center Parcs before? What would be your top tips?
