Travel Memories #18 – Grand Caynon, 2006

Welcome to Travel Memories Week 18! We hope to post every week a photo from our past travels (before children included) that makes us smile and remember the moment. We love taking photos of our travels (especially me – Sam) so we thought we would start this little series and see where it takes us. Memories are so special and when we forget we can look back at all our photo albums and know that there were happy moments which we can cherish.

Our Travel Memories

This picture was taken back in 2006 in the good old USA. I visited back in 2006 with my brother during our 3 month backpacking trip. We took a tour group ran by the hostel we were staying in and it took us round the Grand Canyon and Sedona too (although not 100% sure about the last bit ha!). The Grand Caynon is utterly awe inspiring and it is one of the places that I want to take our boys when they are slightly older (old enough to appreciate what they are looking at) Would love to take them on an extended holiday to include places I went before they were born. Just looking at the Grand Canyon makes you stop and stare.

You can view our other posts from our Travel Memories Series here.

Do you have a favourite travel memory? Feel free to share, we would love to hear from you.

Mummy and Wife at Travelling With Our Kids
I have always had an interest in travel and now we have our two boys we want them to see more than just the UK. We hope to give advice and tips to other parents who are anxious about travelling with their children. You can also read about our holidays and the places we have visited while away.
