Welcome to Travel Memories Week 21! We hope to post every week a photo from our past travels (before children included) that makes us smile and remember the moment. We love taking photos of our travels (especially me – Sam) so we thought we would start this little series and see where it takes us. Memories are so special and when we forget we can look back at all our photo albums and know that there were happy moments which we can cherish.
Our Travel Memories
This picture was taken back in 2006 in Canada. We visited back in 2006 when my brother and I were on our 3 month trip around USA/Canada. This was near the end of our trip, and we had been staying in Toronto for over 2 weeks. Our travel plans had come to a bit of a stop as we didn’t have the money to make it to Montreal/Quebec. We had already booked our hostel for going back to USA. So we had to stay in Toronto and wait it out. This meant we could take a trip organised by the hostel to Niagara Falls.
This picture was taken after we had been on the Maid of the Mist boat ride (I don’t think it is called this anymore though?) He had decided to go for a walk and take some of the usual tourist pictures. It was a great experience to see them as you always here people talking about visiting them.

Do you have a favourite travel memory? Feel free to share, we would love to hear from you.
