Welcome to Travel Memories Week 24! We hope to post every week a photo from our past travels (before children included) that makes us smile and remember the moment. We love taking photos of our travels (especially me – Sam) so we thought we would start this little series and see where it takes us. Memories are so special and when we forget we can look back at all our photo albums and know that there were happy moments which we can cherish.
Our Travel Memories
This picture was taken this year (2016) in England. We were recently in England for Big K’s 5th birthday. We had decided to go to Drayton Manor as his birthday surprise. He didn’t know where he was doing until we were turning into the road to Drayton Manor. Just seeing his face light up and him shouting “It’s Thomas Land” was enough for us!
We had such a great time and Thomas Land is such a great part of the park. We went on pretty much all the rides and most of them Little K managed to go on too. We also managed to go on some of the rides in the main park. Although my stomach didn’t really like the Wooden Barrel ride which is a bit like the tea cups. If you have been then you may know it. The boys loved it and their dad thought it was so funny to spin it really fast! I was pretty much laying down trying to keep Little K in place! Have you ever been to Drayton Manor?
