Welcome to Travel Memories Week 2! We hope to post every week a photo from our past travels (before children included) that makes us smile and remember the moment. We love taking photos of our travels (especially me – Sam) so we thought we would start this little series and see where it takes us. Memories are so special and when we forget we can look back at all our photo albums and know that there were happy moments which we can cherish.
Our Travel Memories
This was our eldest sons first holiday when he was 16 weeks old in Austria back in October 2011. We nearly didn’t go on this holiday as my older brother passed away 4 weeks before. Long story short we managed to change the holiday plans to include my younger brother as he was meant to be going to Florida with my older brother. We were exploring Salzburg and looking out over the beautiful views of the city. My dad started snapping pictures of our son so I joined in and captured this precious photo. Such innocence and as a baby he was so oblivious to the heartache we were all going through. Our eldest son got us through the holiday and through the tough months/years that followed.
