Welcome to Travel Memories Week 35! We hope to post every week a photo from our past travels (before children included) that makes us smile and remember the moment. We love taking photos of our travels (especially me – Sam) so we thought we would start this little series and see where it takes us. Memories are so special and when we forget we can look back at all our photo albums and know that there were happy moments which we can cherish.
Our Travel Memories
This picture was taken back in 2006. This was one of the many stops on my 3 month backpacking trip with my older brother. We were staying in Seattle and we had decided to go up the Seattle Space Needle. It is 184m high and it gives you a great view over Seattle! We were lucky to go up on a good day so you could see for miles.
We went up a few of these tall towers on our 3 month trip and we really enjoyed going up and looking around the city from above. It also gave us a good idea of our surroundings and we liked trying to see if we could see other places to visit.
Do you enjoy going places that will give you a great view? I wish I had a better camera back then as some of my pictures are shocking. However, the pictures bring back many memories and that is what I love about travel…the memories.

Do you have a favourite travel memory? Feel free to share, we would love to hear from you.
