Travel Memories #6 – Austria, 2010

Welcome to Travel Memories Week 6! We hope to post every week a photo from our past travels (before children included) that makes us smile and remember the moment. We love taking photos of our travels (especially me – Sam) so we thought we would start this little series and see where it takes us. Memories are so special and when we forget we can look back at all our photo albums and know that there were happy moments which we can cherish.

Our Travel Memories
This picture was taken back in 2010, in Austria. We were in Austria on a business trip which involved a lot of walking. This picture was taken as we went down in the single chair lifts (you can see my husband on the one in front). I was not impressed as I’m not too good with heights but it was great seeing the beautiful scenery on our way down. You can see a little bit of Innsbruck down in the valley too. We have been back since with our eldest son but I think we will need to go back again with both boys and hike up the mountain again. It was a tough business trip but I love walking/hiking so I find it pretty relaxing.

Have any of you been to Innsbruck in Austria before? Did you visit with or without your children? It truly is a lovely place to visit (the scenery is amazing!)

Do you have a favourite travel memory? Feel free to share, we would love to hear from you.

I have always had an interest in travel and now we have our two boys we want them to see more than just the UK. We hope to give advice and tips to other parents who are anxious about travelling with their children. You can also read about our holidays and the places we have visited while away.
